A spin-off of my flat tire fix post...

A while back I scored an air compressor from a 90's Goldwing on Ebay.

My intention is to install an air system on the bike.  I have a set of air
shocks, also scored on Ebay, and I want to set these up for on-the-fly
adjustment now that my wife occasionally rides with me.

I also want to set it up so a thin-ish air hose, maybe 5' or 10' or so, can
be hooked up for airing tires.

I could have bought a complete aftermarket system, but at $400+ vs $35 for
the Goldwing compressor, it was an easy choice.

The only issue I have, besides time to mess with it, is, how the hell does
this work?  I know a thing or two about shop air compressors, but I know
jack squat about this thing.  It looks a lot more complicated that it needs
to be.

Oh, and where the heck I'm going to put it is somewhat puzzling.  I might be
able to stick it down where the center stand is, try to squeeze it in there
so it doesn't interfere with anything, I could put it under the trunk, or
maybe pinch it inside the fairing.  I don't want to put it inside the
luggage.

Anybody have experience or a good source of information on Goldwing air
systems?
