Weather here has been major rain since Tues/Wed with rain called for
all day tomorrow. I'm not adverse to riding in the rain if I get
caught in it, but I'm giving up a benefit ride tomorrow AM since I
found out the ride is less than an hour long, starts and stops at the
same location, and is well over an hour away to begin with. Not worth
riding in the rain for that.
Instead, I'll just push my bike around the cul-de-sac, ring the little
bell on the handlebars, and make vroom sounds.
I trust some of you have a mountain, desert, or some other decent ride
going on.

Why, yes, some of us are out actually riding our bikes yet again this
weekend. Just like last weekend and the one before and the one before
that and..... Hell, I don't even wait for the weekend anymore. I just
get on every morning and ride to work or the store or wherever I'm
going.

Running down to Cape May, NJ with club for the last "club ride" of the
season and signing up for the Polar Bear Grand Tour again.

While many of the local guys put them up for the winter, a few of us ride
all year long.

Yeah, I can understand how people might put 'em for the winter in your
area (NJ/PA/NY/DE). Good for you to keep on going. The local group I
ride with claims the biggest turnouts are on winter rides. Of course,
that's because it's like riding in an oven here in SEVA during summer
months.
