Or just politics?
I recently bought a used 07 Bonneville Speedmaster. Put 1000 miles on
since Sep. 1st.
Change the grips and just recently added a powerlet plug so I can ride
during the cold weather.

I picked up a 2004 Bonneville in aug 2007 and have put on 10,000 fun filled
miles since (it helps to be in socal where the weather tends to lend itself
to year round biking). I pulled the airbox and put on some better pipes to
give it a bit more get up and go.

I got the "Plain Bonny" but with the addition of some nice pipes it really
does well on the mountain roads down here - not a sportbike by any means,
but a lot of fun to ride.

My first bike was a 1970 650. Actually very good handling bikes.
