Do you get any problems with the constabulary and their dislike for
civilian Bremsstrahlung emitters?

Not as much as you'd think. One other more "modern"
mod I neglected to mention is the hypercatalytic converter,
which of course takes care of any concerns that might have
come from keeping the plated-cavorite liners* of the original
system. That, and I guess I just look like a really trustworthy
sort, so they haven't pulled me over yet.

* - OK, so I won't take any points for authenticity at the
next Spagthorpe Concours. In my mind, I'm willing to make
that tradeoff, esp. since the authorities DO tend to get all
soggy and hard to light if you're melting the asphalt every time
you stop for more than 15 seconds at a red light.

They are heavily concentrated in south-central Idaho and northwestern
Georgia, iirc. That's where I've seen most of the ones I've spotted
over the years.

We useta see them all the time in the early spring near Malad ,
occasionally one would wander across the state line into Utah , a couple of
them drowned in 1965 at Udy's Hot Springs . T'was an ugly site ...
