Well, I was, but global warming is changing all of that.

I can ride year round. It's getting to the freeway that's problematic
on a 600# motorcycle. That's why I'm finally rebuilding teh Titan. It
can handle knobbies. ;^) Y'all wimps can't take the cold nor dress for
it.

Who you callin'a wimp? I live in Northern Colorado - and
ride year round because the roads for the most part stay
dry. Damned COLD, but dry. Just put on an extra layer
or two, and keep a balaclava handy...
I did make the mistake, some time back when I was but
an egg and larnin' the mysteries of two-wheeled transport,
of assuming that just because the roads were dry HERE,
they'd be just fine higher up. And found myself topping a
ridge and riding down into a little valley full of freezing
mist and roads that were starting to look a lot shinier than
those I'd just ridden up on. Ooops.
Got back OK, but it took a while for the pucker mark on
the seat to go away...

Bullshit. And a lot of it.

Owning a Moto Guzzi 500cc V-8 is just another of Keefer's juvenile
fantasies.
