I'm talking about the BMW R1150RT-P, which the CHP love so much they
got into hot water over writing cop-bike specifications that match it.
They've been using those bikes (and the predecessor the R1100RT-P) for
almost 10 years now. If there were stability problems with it, I'm sure
we'd have heard about them by now.

It's easy to say a war is so important your neighbor should go fight it for you.

Unfortunately I don't give the Scots much credence, in this case. But, I
guess it's back to the BMW R1200 RT for them.
Now if it was the LAPD.
The LAPD has started using the ST1300, this year. So, we'll see.

Watch what you say about the Scots. I have been seriously thinking about
putting a couple of large highpower speakers on my crashbars. Next punk kid
who drives up with (c)rap playing at dangerous levels will get a megawatt
shot of massed bagpipes playing Scotland the Brave.
That was a fast trip to Laughlin...

I would pay to see this device in action.
