Cluster of testicular cancer in police officers exposed to hand-held
radar.

Within a cohort of 340 police officers, six incident cases of
testicular cancer occurred between 1979 and 1991 (O/E 6.9; p<0.001,
Poisson distribution). Occupational use of hand-held radar was the
only shared risk factor among all six officers,

Hmmm. Sounds like a gentle lead-in for roadside speed cams in the coming
fiscal year.

Here they shove the camera in the back of Toyota Hi-Ace type vans with
tinted windows and move them around. No real worry for bikes until they
bring in front number plates......

Amazingly I've never seen one of these unmanned revenue collectors
vandalised when fixed cameras have been torn down by irate motorists?
Not that I would condone such a thing.....even a cardbox taped over the
rear window so the camera can't 'see' would be amusing.
