You know I'm sitting here reading all your little postings and it
makes me sick. No one is out to kill anyone, that is the most insane
statment I have ever heard in my life. I myself have lost a loved one
the same way this accident occured and all I can say is that this is a
horrible tragedy for everyone involved.
And don't tell me that motorcycle riders are never at fault. That
they never follow too close, drive too fast, travel on the shoulder or
weave in and out of traffic "just because they can." Or just get in a
big hurry to catch up with their friends. And "YES" sometimes we
don't see them because they are small and quick.
Oh, and the "two young chicks" they were his daughter and my niece
you stupid morons.

You miss the whole point of the concept. No one actually
thinks 'cagers are out to kill riders'. The idea of the hyperbole is
to establish a mindset of 'PRETEND they are, and ride defensively,
accordingly, as IF they were.'. The same mindset is equally
applicable to cagers, who should view all other vehicles around them
as 'lethal weapons guided by homicidal maniacs', and drive
accordingly.

Actually, it isn't. Donovan Leistico tried to kill me in 1980 by
running me down with his truck, after he killed his wife by vehicular
homicide. He is still in prison, but he was driving around for two
years after the incident while out on bail. There _are_ people out
there who would just as soon kill you, and a motorcyclist must ride
accordingly. (That doesn't take into account the vast numbers of car
drivers who are just criminally negligent, which, to the victim, isn't
much different.)

Thanks, Turby. But she doesn't want truth.
She just wants to strike out at someone and we're handy.
