What are your thoughts?  Has it gone down or stayed about the same?

And has anyone seen any official stats yet?

Wont go...to many idiots with loud pipes riding
trailer queens. None AGATT just life still fake
leather.

No should be interesting. Fuel for those
truck/trailer combos isn't cheap. Same reasons
I'll never go to Sturgis.

History does not record anywhere at any time a
religion that has any rational basis. Religion is
a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up
to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff,
most people do have a religion and spend time and
money on it and seem to derive considerable
pleasure from fiddling with it.

The crowd on Main Street on Friday night was the largest I've seen in
20 years.  Still, the 'word' was that attendance was down overall.
The racetrack, as usual, was practically empty.   Most Bike Week
visitors are apparently unaware that there is motorcycle racing taking
place in between bar runs and chopper shows.

Word across the street was that the place was pretty empty for the
first part of the week.

I was there opening weekend and it was packed. No place to park within
six blocks of main street, too many loud pipes, and lots of young things
flashing the crowd.  Too much excitement for an old man like me.  I had to
leave.

Actually, I had other things to do in Key West and Mobile, or I would have
stayed. One bad thing, though...  Two serious wrecks within a mile of the
strip saturday night. Both involved alcohol, of course.

There did seem to be more Sport bikes, Beamers and Wings, this year. Not
to many Sport Touring, though.  I shoulda rode the FJR. The Kawi LT
(Hardley wannabee) was a pain.
