I need to buy a battery for a BMW road bike (r1100rt) and Suzuki dual-
purpose. The prev owner had a crappy battery in the BMW and this caused
problems with the ABS working right, and now the battery is pretty shot
anyway (despite battery tender).
Is there a good internet source for new batteries? I was going to try
competition accessories and places like that and wanted to see if there
were any recommendations for that or other mcy parts/accessories. There
isn't a good dealer near me, and with the AGM technology I guess I can
get one ready to go from a reputable mail order place.
TIA

Most BMW battery problems come from not riding enough and/or not keeping the
rev's up.

Try your local auto parts, Sears and Wallymart first.

Nothing wrong with Walmart batteries. Same batteries different names.

I've heard good stuff said about the Odyssey PC-680.
No personal experience. Besides motorcycle shops,
I've had good luck in the past buying from a local battery
store. I'd also consider buying on the internet from a
reputable supplier.
