2006 Honda Shadow 600 (VT600C)
Brake reaction arm attaches to swingarm by bolting to two tabs welded into
swingarm.
There is a small amount of corrosion on the swingarm tabs. (I don't care
about corrosion on the reaction arm because it is a $15 part.) I wire
brushed it and hit it with spray Rustoleum. I'll probably do the same thing
again this year.
Is there a better method? A better product?
And if there are spots between the tabs that I can't get with a wire brush,
what is the best paint remover so I can strip it and repaint it?
Thanks, Datesfat.

Yes. Strip all the paint off off your chassis with methylene chloride
paint stripper.
Then have the frame Parkerized...

For removing paint, NOTHING beats Airplane Remover.

Except for an angle grinder.

If you want to risk cutting into the metal and subsequently weakening
it, sure.
Big difference between taking off paint and shaving off metal.
