I have been using the GPS built into my Verizon phone. It bluetooths the
directions to my Scala headset. It even warns me about traffic issues on
the route. It does not require line of sight to a satellite, so I can
tuck the phone away in a case or pocket. The best part is that it does
not cost any more to use than my regular phone service. Drawbacks are
that there is no map to look at, unless I want to mount the phone up on
the shelf of my RT1100. There is already too much going on up there
between the ezpass, sirius radio and radar detector. I also cant seem to
get the thing to shut up when I dont want the directions any more. Need
to check into the voice recognition options.
