These mpg scooter riders need to ask themselves one thing:
Would you ride that thing if gas were free?
If you're answer is "No", then you should get a Toyota Echo.
Or you're setting yourself up to "die" for cheap transportation.

What I ride is so very far from being a scooter. But, I have to ask, what is
different about riding one of these things than riding a "real" motorcycle?
Most especially in town in low speed areas.
If gas were free, I would drive a Hummer.

Try taking one on the highway or your local 'beltline' at 60 +
or 70 + MPH.
You'll come home with a new religion.
