BrianNZ is alive ..... amazingly enough

 He's alive, apparently.  Or at least he types like a SOB for a dead
guy.

He's getting over his hip replacement and also trying to save up for a
new gold bracelet / tether for his girlfriend, so he's off newsgroups
for a while.
