I love mortocycle dealerships. If I have a few hours of nothing to
do, I consider it time well spent if I can do it
at a motorcycle dealer. I love looking at new bikes, bikes I could own
and bikes that I might own someday. If they are not too busy just
talking to the sales folks and people that work there is time well
spent. On the other hand, When I want to buy a car, usually a truck,
I already know exactly what I want before I go into the dealer and Im
ready to do battle to get the lowest price possible. I buy a car or
truck for its reliability, period. I buy a motorcycle for the same but
there is a lot of subjective stuff thrown in as well. I'm about ready
to buy another bike and its a beauty but it doesn't mean that I will
quit hanging out at the dealer.

Hmmmmm...
One salesman told me that motorcyclists had a bigger ego than a
Ferrari owner, and he knew that because he had sold both. (1) It's
amazing how much attention motorcyclists want from the $tealer$hip,
compared to what the $tealer makes off of a mass produced motorcycle.

Harrumphhhh!
Some modern motorcycle emporium$ have questioned why riders expect to
hang around their $tealer$hip after buying their new machine.
After all, they say, "You don't expect to go back and hang around the
Chevrolet or Ford $ealer$hip, scaring away potential customer$, do
you?"
The only time a $tealer ever sees me is the day I buy a new motorcycle
and the rare incident when I have to buy an original equipment part
because I cannot get it from anywhere else.
(1) Not well it seems, I saw him working for various $tealer$hip$ over
the years.
(2) $1000 to $1500 on a $10K motorcycle. What, is the $tealer supposed
to introduce you to his daughter for that paltry amount of money?
