My friends caught the racing bug after a track day with Penguin Racing
at Homestead-Miami Speedway. These pictures are from their first race
weekend.
I'm too much of a wuss to go race. A track day every year or so is
enough for me. :)
(Taken with a Nikon D100 digital SLR camera.)

Nice. What lens(es) were you using? I esp. liked the gravel
collection! I assume the collector was okay?

thanks, I was using a Nikkor 70-300mm lens (the cheap $100 one)

If you're interested, here are some shots I took at Daytona
International Speedway during Bike Week earlier this year. All taken
with a Nikon D70S, most with an 80-400 VR lens.

Good pics, great composition. I feel like they are begging for a little
Photoshop to add some contrast a touch of sharpening and saturation.
That would make them really "pop" at you.
PS Don't worry, I'm a wuss too.
