Can motorcycle be stored on this lift all winter?

Will a 1,500 lb. lift like the one at the link below be able to keep a
motorcycle (V-Star 1100) suspended off the ground for the winter months?
My brother wants one for his birthday to do this.

If it has some sort of mechanical safety latch, yes.  If it depends on
hydraulics alone, it will leak down, even if it's brand new.
