Don was surprised to hear that a CBX was a classic Japanese bike.

Others off the top of my head:

Suzuki X6 Hustler, GS1000S, first generation GSXR-750

Honda 305 SuperHawk, CB750-4, CB400F four, first generation Gold Wing,
CBX, GB500 Ascot

Yamaha RD400F Daytona Special, RZ350 Kenny Roberts Replica, SR500
thumper, XS1 650 twin

Kawasaki H2 750 two-stroke triple, 500 Mach III

Future classics:

First generation Suzuki Hayabusa, Honda Valkyrie

Boy, I sure hope so, Don. As I hear spare parts for old Jap Bikes are near
impossible to find.

I may need a few.

Oddly, that's not the case. For one thing, eBay has opened up global
sourcing, and for another, people are re-manufacturing some parts,
because there's enough demand to make it worthwhile.

Obviously, some bits are made of unobtainium, but as one who runs two
1970s bikes, it's a lot easier to find stuff than you'd think.
