Anyone see that last night? A brief but informative history of the Moto
Guzzi marque. Excellent, and I could have watched a couple hour's more
of it. One thing really stood out to me: How come Italian motorcycle
manufacturers, techs, designers, riders and enthusiasts all look like
and/or have the class of a Marcello Mastroiani, and the women
associated with them are Sophia Loren-ish, while their American
counterparts are in the physical style of Charlie Manson and Ailene
Wronos?

It's their breed.....I am a Guzzi enthusiast ('95 Daytona 1000 in the
shed and used to ride an 1100 Sport) and I look nothing like Marcello.
....but a fat Charlie Manson.....I can relate to that. My welding helmet
has a painted crazy grin and a swastika on the forehead, tastefully done
in red.

It's a sad representation of where the US culture is going.

Yes, sad but true ever since LBJs entitlement programs coupled with out fetish
for safety reversed Darwinism. Now the good die young and the rest breed like
cockroaches.
