You're not wrong. When I got the FJR I tried to see how high
I could get the mpg computer to go. I got 49 mpg average per
the computer over 50 miles of very slow 45-55 mph riding on
county roads with few stop signs. But it took an extreme
amount of self-control.

I did a quick search of the Concours Owners Group forums. Specifically
the section on the ZG1400. So you "read the tests" and are therefore an
authority on real world riding...

I'm not an expert on many things, but "real world riding" is one
category in which I claim 40 years of experience. There are a few
people with more miles on more motorcycles than me, but not very
damned many. Some of them probably wrote the reviews in MCN and
Cycle World.

So yes. I am an authority on real world riding. If you buy a
Concours 14, expect under 35 MPG.

OK, I'll try to use small words and type slowly so you can understand.

I an simply reporting what people who actually *own* and *ride* the
Concours14 are *actually* experiencing.

But don't let the facts get in the way of your ignorance, apparently
your "40 years" of riding experience, none of which have apparently
actually *been* on a Concours14, makes you much more of an expert on the
subject.
