A real shame, too, because it sounds as if the man already had a
lugnut or two loose!

What a dumbass. Everybody knows you're supposed to
use road flares.

Naw, I think the problem was that he used a standard
shotgun on a metric nut....

Could be I s'pose.

Personally, I would have tried using the road
flare to heat the lug nut.
