Recently, I have seen good, clean, original, unmolested

The salesman at the consignment store explained to me that the price
wouldn't matter if I "just had to have it."

Obviously the owner of the huge collection "just had to have" nearly
200 vintage and classic motorcycles, but that's a kind of passion that
I can understand.

I know one Harley rider who "just had to have" eleven Big Twins all at
the same time and they were all purchased in only two three years.

His problem, besides motor vehicle gluttony, was that he was buying
them all on credit...

Of course he had to file bankruptcy when his debts piled up and his
home remodeling slowed down.

I wasn't.

You can get lovely ones in the UK (we got the XBR - the GB was only
available as a grey import) for probably one-third of the US price.

This is true.

Nothing damages a machine more than an ignoramus with a manual, a
can-do attitude and a set of cheap tools
