I have been reading continual attacks on RGD for some time, usually
involving crude distortions of his nickname. Hitherto I have forborne
to contribute any rebuttal on the assumption that Don is perfectly
capable of fighting his own battles, especially against such
an obviously intellectually challenged adversary.

However, lest RGD form the mistaken impression that my (for one)
silence on the matter be construed as passive assent (or at the very
least, indifference) I hereby openly challenge Mr or Ms or whatever
Martin.secrest220 to either provide confirming evidence to support
his or her or whatever's insinuations or to issue a public retraction
and then shut the fuck up.

Thanks Sean.  But, for the level of honour and dignity you're asking,
wouldn't Martin actually have to be ex-military, instead of just
playing one at his mom's computer?

 
Er, no. The two things are not related.

There are plenty of ex-military who have neither honor *nor* dignity,
and plenty of folks who never served who have both in abundance.

Martin, of course, has neither; not to mention a drastic shortage of
neurons.

 

Crudely distorting RGD's phony materialistic nickname is just another
aspect of conducting a flame war. Nobody gets to pick their own
nickname, except in anonymous communications like on Usenet or CB
radio.

Once a person is accepted into a masculine group, he is awarded a
nickname which he has earned by his behavior.

In a Plains Indian tribe RGD would have been called "Stands Behind
Squaw."



Why do you feel it necessary to take sides with a bigot like SBS, who
repeatedly uses his own wife and children as *bait* to win an argument
about "political correctness"?
