Got the project 750SS finished a month or two ago, now have the
project 1000SS trackbike 95% complete, assembled, rolling, running,
dynotuned, and awaiting 2-3 parts for its 8/10 track debut (to be
followed by cosmetic completion) and last night I finally got the new
rear fender installed on the Harley and got it back on its wheels.
Now everything in there can move about on its own wheels and under its
own power.
Just have to finish reassembly and sale of the two racebikes in the
trailer.....
Phew, it has been a long garage year already!

Hi Tim,
Raced my hack at Loudon July 3 & 4. Got two 3rd place finishes.
Noticed afterwards that the back wheel was listing to the left. Turns
out the right leg of the swingarm had cracked over 3/4 of the way
around, leaking gear lube from the shaft drive. Got a replacement
swingarm the day before leaving for Mid-Ohio. Actually finished the
install at the track last Friday. When I got done the wheel still
listed to the left, just not so much. Looking closer I noticed the
shocks also listed to the left. The whole back end of the bike is
twisted. Checked it over for cracks and found none so I ran it that
way. Got two 2nd place finishes. Almost tempted to leave it that
way ;)

Bruce,
glad you found the first problem and were able to put it right.
The second 'modification' could possibly be considered an
unconventional racing innovation! Congrats on the great finishes!

Thanks.
Can't imagine how things got twisted :)

Surprising the front end isn't tweeked too! Of course there is a way
around that. Lift it off the ground.

I think I need a heavier passenger.
