But it's still a moving song.

Now for those who are not hockey fans, back in the mid seventies Kate
Smith would sing God Bless America before the Philadelphia Flyer home
games and the Broad Street Bullies were almost unbeatable on nights
she sang the song and just plain average when she didn't.

The Flyers, with Smith's help, won the Stanley Cup in 75 & 76.

Before tonight's game (Flyers and Canadiens) they had a video of Kate
Smith singing God Bless America before the game. It brought back a few
memories of the days of Bernie Parent, Don Saleski, Battleship Bob
Kelly and of course Bobby Clark.

For those who have absolutely no interest in any of that, the line, a
very long line, forms to the left. lol

The Sharks lost, lost, and lost. My roommate just had his final playoff
game and his team lost. And I had my league playoff game last week and
we lost. So I'm not interested. Humpf.

But the league starts again in a week! Yippee!
