Got my book

 My copy of "Proficient Motorcycling" arrived yesterday.
It's too cold and soon to be snowy to ride here in the
next few days, so I'm starting to read it and marking
things I need to be on the bike soon after I read the
chapter or paragraph.  There is one free motorcycle
safety course given around here but so far it's been
a hassle trying to get a spot in the class.  Maybe
I'll end up paying to go to one that's less of a
pain in the neck to get registered for.

Hough writes a fine book. It is an easy read full of good riding info.
I read mine once a year, usually when the winter has been too long and
I am anxious to ride.

If you are looking for another decent riding skills aid, look up the
Ride Like A Pro DVD. I think it is produced and sold by Jerry
Pallidino. I hope I have the name right.

It's a good training aid for slow speed riding skills.

What Commie hellhole do you live in where such things are "free"? In
the kapitalist kountry known as "Florida" we have to pay for safety
course: cheapest price around 160 rubles! <G>

 You might see if they do stand its for the no shows.  Often at least one
person doesn't show up for the class.
