But the last time I rode, I forgot to unplug my damn powerhog GPS, and I
forgot to put the bike on the Battery Tender.
Now I have a flat battery and less than an hour for it to charge.
Here's hoping I can get it started!

Sounds to me like an argument for not using GPS on trips.

I use it everywhere...
It's my speedo...
I rarely look at the actual inaccurate speedo anymore. GPS and Tach are
what I use.

You mean you can solve real-time equations in spherical trigonometry
in your head? That's impressive!

$25 buys you a bicycle speedo that you can set as
accurately as any speedo can be set for a motorcycle.
It also gives you a second tripmeter, clock and a couple
of other less useful pieces of info. Also gives you a
choice of km or miles, which I can see as being useful
in some situations.
