Yes, it is fortunate. They fill a niche that is perhaps uniquely North
American. The 'cult' has provided them a comfortable business since before
god was born. Circa 1991 a bubble began to form that made them rich. Now
the bubble seems to be deflating so sales may return to the 'cult' level and
the botiques may scale back. It's as tho you had been making the same
salery for decades. Then you suddenly got 3x as much for a few years, then
went back to your old salery. Should you be glad you got the temporary
increase or whine about it when it goes away?

Right, and as a cult, Harley is much more successful; look at their
market share compared to Apple's!!!!!
