In one of our local rider forums we are having a little fun with fall by
comparing some of our pictures of fall colours. Kinda like leaf peeping
without leaving your couch. Here are a few of my favourites. These
were taken during one of my trips to Maine. It is beautiful country.

If you have any how about posting them.

Yeah it's hard to strike that balance of picture taking vs riding time.
I often find myself doing the 100 kph drive by thinking about all of the
terrific pictures I am missing. It's not a big deal when I am riding in
my own corner of the world, but when I am in an area I will likely never
be again I like to take the time to snap a few shots. Of course I will
always stop for bear pictures.

There was no room to stop on the shoulders down there on the good
stuff. The only place we could stop was in the big flat areas, hence
no good pics. I have mental pictures, but can't share those. You'll
just have to come over and see it for yourself. <g>

One of these days or years I would like to do just that. Maybe in 2012.
