Hello All,
Haven't been here in years, hope everyone is well.
After 5 years with my "starter" bike it is time to part ways. I want to
sell my '85 VN700A Vulcan. I'm not sure how to price it though. KBB
states that I can get $1900+ in good shape with 40K miles on it, but I
have my doubts about that.
Actually my bike only has 14,500 miles and is in excellent shape for
the 21 y/o. Hasn't been dropped, runs great, very minor oxidation on
small easily replaceable parts. All I ever had to replace was the
battery and change the oil.
Question is: does any one know what this bike would be worth
realistically? Is $1500 - 1600 a fair asking price? I need to get it
out tof the garage within next couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Igor.

Stick it on fleaBay with a starting price of a grand. Lots of pictures
showing its condition and a truthful description should get you your answer,
or a sale.

Craig's List it and/or list it here. I got $2100 for a 1986 with 25,000
miles. ...But mine was virtually showroom condition.
What are you getting in it's place?

Not sure yet. Wanted a VTX, but the budget may not allow. Maybe a
Sabre?
