I have a tall head.
I want a 3/4 helmet with a flip up/down visor.
So far, every helmet I've tried (Scorpion, Shoei, 707) don't come far enough
down, making me look like a gorrilla with a beanie...except, I like to
think, somewhat more handsome.
These aren't popular helmets, so finding different brands in stock to try on
is a pain in the ass. Most manufacturers make them, but stores don't like
to waste space stocking something that rarely sells.
Hence, my quandary.
Anybody else here with a not-quite-freakishly tall head, and have a
particular favorate helmet?
I want a 3/4 helmet because I want some protection, but it's too damn hot
for a full face helmet. I want a flip down visor for the freeways. Plain
3/4 with goggles isn't an option for me...I friggin hate goggles, and my
face really hates stones kicked up on the freeway.
Thank you,
CS

You can buy third-party flip-up visors to fit any 3/4 helmet with standard visor
snaps. They've been available for over forty years.

Schuberth has a nice one (as far as these contraptions can be called
nice), that has a visor, as well as a removable chin protection bar.
Schuberth caters for all sort of obscene size requirements.
No clue if they sell in your part of the world.
