A paralegal where I work died this weekend when she lost control and hit a
guardrail. No mention of speed or what caused the accident.

She was probably ONLY wearing a helmet. No leathers or body armor,
or extremely inadequate ones. And a 2005 Harley? I'll bet she just bought
the bike a couple months ago.

Pure speculation. We don't know what happened.

Well, we can be fairly confidant that she bought the bike within the
last 24 months...
Other than that, I agree with you. The cited report is a little short
on specifics.

The woman rider, might've been wearing a helmet, but still, she lost
her life. The Helmet is head protection. It will not help prevent any
other part of the body from harm. And it -only- helps to protect the
head, and even then, it is not 100% protection.
I feel like I am doing the right thing by wearing one. bjay@webtv.net
