And that's one of the problems. Too many people in too many jobs are wearing
"hi-viz" shite and it's becoming less noticable by the day.

I'm about to paint my wife's and my own helmets "Pearl Blazing Orange", but
only because I like the colour.

Which is also the reason why I dislike the DRL feature (daytime
running lights) of cars.

I'm not a particular lover of it myself, but I ride and drive in Sweden from
time to time and it's mandatory over there and it's amazing how far away a
vehicle can be and you can still see it.
Mind you, in Sweden I think the most "popular" accident is a head-on
collision.
