How hard would it be to obtain a used Honda CBX or a used Honda CB750?
The CBX has six cylinders on it. SIX. Such a bike would probably go
for a lot of money.
What is the market price. Are they problematic already since it's been
so many years?

Depends on how tall you are. Short people have to pay a _lot_ of
money.
A normal sized guy I know is rebuilding a couple of CBXs. Into one
bike, actually, turning it into a V-12. Since he's into a
barter/mooching lifestyle, he's doing it _very_ cheaply. I'd ask him
where you could find one, but his girlfriend's husband just bought him
a plane ticket to Europe, and he won't be back for a few months.

They're both pretty rare in PHX. I know two collectors with the CBX six.
By the CB, you mean Honda's 1st 4 valve i4 DOHC engine'd bike starting
in 1979, correct? The engine was very similar to the UJM hydraulic
actuated valve Honda 650-750cc Knight hawk made in the mid eighties to
see links below.

just a couple of years ago (air cooled), when they finally dropped the
line. They never had the "cop bike" following, like the one liter to
1100cc Kawasaki classic 2 valve Z1 ancestries UJM powered bikes. The
Honda was the 1st serious i4, i6 4valve engine that Suzuki GS1100 and
later Kawasaki Ninja plus Yamaha Renisis 5 valve engines would later
follow suite. Also, the GS1100 had knuckle valve lash adjusters until
their later pure water cooled I4's. Kawasaki also did a 4 valve i6 but
dropped it after trying it in both in a sportie frame and a big tourer.
Voyager was the tourers name. see link below.

For the record, the 1st four valve /cylinder Japanese engine was the
XS500 back in around 76. It was a twin and kind of a dog if memory
serves. Honda also had that weird torsion spring actuated valve 450 that
I could easily blow off with my Yamaha RD-350's of that era. Even the
old Honda 750 was no match in acceleration to the two stroke Yamaha RD
series. Harleys of any era either-:)

Back to the CBX,1000 & CB-750 four valvers. Neither were as together as
the Suzuki GS1000 in 1978. lacked the overall sophistication but drag
strip performance was about the same on all four bikes (XS1100, GS1000,
CBX & Kwaw KZ1000). The CB 750 was faster than the original two valve
SOHC Honda's but about the same as the two valve GS750 in 1978-79.
Enough history:)

I'd like to find a CBX to go with my H1.
Multiples of 3 are ok. No multiples of 4.

Typo? My first CB750 was a 1969, the first year for that Four.
(Don't remember if it was a 4-valve...)
