I'd rather ride that sidecar than walk a couple of miles through the mud.

The Germans did decidedly weird things with motorcycles. My favorite
is the Kettenkrad http://www.kettenkrad.com/1Good-New-Left-Mar-02.gif

it 's really pushing things to call that a motorcycle.
