Put a set of Vance & Hines Straight Shot slip-ons on the Street Bob
this afternoon. Sweeeeeet!
After the usual 10% discount the mufflers (if you can call them that
;) cost about $330, which I thought was quite reasonable.
It became even more reasonable when they informed me they were giving
away free roll-up motorcycle bags that day. When I got home and
opened it up, I found it had yet more free stuff in inside: One of
those foldable, combination pliers with screwdrivers, blades and
stuff. And nice flashlight (with 3 batteries). A reflective blanket.
A key chain/portable reflector and lens-cleaning cloth.
And all the stuff had little Harley emblems on them. Bonus! ;)

So when your Hardly breaks down some cold night, you can wrap
up in the nice warm blanky, clean your glasses, set the reflector up
so a rice-burner doesn't run your ass over, and use the flashlight to
see what you're trying to fix with the pliers ?
Sorry, couldn't resist :-)

Now if Saddle cross posts this one to AMS it should be good for
another 1000 post thread.
You did do something bad. <g>

I wouldn't worry about that. They probably think a slip-on is some
new kinda condom.
