I'm heading out the door now. I'm going to ride my motorcycle. I'm not
sure where, but it doesn't matter. I'm going to get away from any and
all thoughts, talk, and writings about politics, guns, personal
habits, ebay squabbles, idiot behavior - all of it.
I'm going to ride.
Bye.

Well after I shovel the sidewalks for the fourth time this week, I
will unplug the XJ6, brush off the snow, scrape the ice from the
windshield and drive over to Calgary HD to renew my HOG membership for
2009.
Somehow none of that seems to be as much fun as your day.

I'm jealous....but back riding on April 14th with no demerit
points....just might have to take that week off to reacquaint myself
with the bike.
Hope something memorable happens on your ride......

Congrats. Do a few for me too? I find taking a few days or weeks away
from reeky helps. Soon as I get the XR finished up, it's going to be
my winter release. All the parts should be here next week, so I can
finish it up over the weekend.

Good.
I went for a ride last weekend, after (for various reasons) having not
ridden for months. I was surprised to learn that I'd actually forgotten
some of the fundamental truths that riding brings, so much so that later I
found myself literally in tears, in joy of having rediscovered those truths
and in grief over finding out that I could ever forget them.
The lesson, obviously, is Go Ride, and Fuck Everything Else.
