For the next few days I'll be out of the office, riding the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Planning to hit it at Cherokee and head north until we run out of time, then
slab back home.
TJ, don't tell Phil. For once I'd like this not to turn into a race. ;-)

My buddy and I may be riding Skyline Drive in September... not sure how far
we're going to go. Him on his SR500 and I'm not sure if I will be on the
FJR or one of the EX500s.

Take the EX. It's always fun thrashing two similar-sized bikes along.
OK, so the EX will rip the wheels off the SR, but YKWIM. You'd just get
bored on the FJR, keeping down to SR500 speeds.

Believe it or not the speed limit is 35 mph and while I am sure we will
be exceeding it occasionally here and there, it's more of a flower sniffing
ride than anything else.
