I have a leather jacket, but the weather here in Tennessee will turn too
warm for that rathe quickly. What I'm looking for is a nice breathable
mesh(?) jacket like the olympia airglide. I like this jacket but can't find
them online anywhere... and when I do, it'll take awhile to get.

Ok... is what would be an equivalent jacket that has the shoulder, elbow,
and back pads. I would like it to be silver... Price should be $220 or
below.

Thanks,
Charles

AGV Aero Sport.  I've ridden about 8000 miles with that jacket, in most
weather conditions (I don't ride below 32F, but I DO ride through rain, no
matter how hard it's raining).  I love it.

Only thing I'd change about it is it would be nice if the water-proof liner
could be worn by itself.  That is, the zipper doesn't allow you to wear the
waterproof liner unless it is zipped into the jacket.  But no big deal.  Got
a cheap (10 buck?) rain jacket from wally world for times I just want the
waterproof covering.

Like you, I wanted the shoulder, elbow AND back protection.  It's tough to
find all that in a mesh jacket at an affordable price.

It's good down to about 50F, with the waterproof liner.  Below that, you
might have to add a layer or two.  I've gone down to mid-thirties with a
sweatshirt, AGV Aero Sport, and the rain jacket over that to block more
wind.  Main problem in those temps. is cold hands.

The warm weather?  Up close to 100F, the Aero Sport is pretty cool, with the
liner removed, as long as you keep moving.  -Dave

I need one too. I think this style would suit me nicely.

I've got a Firstgear 'Mesh Tex' jacket that I love. It's all you've asked
for, but at a more affordable price:

Don't be fooled by the low price, it'a a nice jacket. I have their mesh
gloves too, and combined, they offer fairly good protection right into the
heat of summer. IMO, it's a real good 'bang for the buck'.

 Good luck,
