I probably won't be able to make it down that weekend. My tires are
OK now with only ~4500 miles on them. But I don't know what they will
be up to by then. Thanks for the offer though. If I can make it,
I'll let you know.

My vacation starts April 23rd and runs for almost 3 weeks. I'll have to spend
most of it putting the finishing touches on the campground, but I can slip away
for a ride for a couple of hours somewhere in there.
I'm also off work from this Friday until next Friday evening. Same restrictions
apply.
The plumber promises to be through by this Friday, so technically we could find
you some sleeping space at the campground, under AC and with hot showers.
After working 12 hours today at the mill, I came home and helped Lori finish the
hardwood floor in cabin #5. I've been working like this for the last 18 months.
I'm almost tired. It'll be nice when the construction is done and we can sit on
the porch in our rocking chairs and greet incoming bikers. We're probably
paving the driveway next week.

You'll put at least 1000 more on them just getting here and back.

I'll have a few more weeks of available riding time before it gets cold again.
Let me know if you can get down this way. Weekdays are better for riding Deal's
Gap. Weekends are just full of squids and cops.

What does high speed trailer braking have to do with a semi that was walking
around a turn at about 15mph?

What makes you think it can't lose traction and skid out some,
even at 15 MPH, if the brakes are slammed on ?
