Um, the Smart Car in question is painted in the same camo color scheme
as were the WW2 BF109 Messerschmidts of the "Abbeville Boys": a crack
German fighter/interceptor squadron.
Since smart cars are built by Daimlier -who also built the engines
for the BF109- the car is a visual pun.
If you really wanted to continue the play on words with a BMW
motorcycle -and do so accurately- you'd have to paint it as an FW190
since BMW built most of the engines for those...

The Swastika on the FW190 would certainly garner you some attention...
