Is there a place to store motorcycles in the bay area?
I just got a new apartment which doesn't have an indoor garage for storing
my bike over the winter indoors and wondered if they make motorcycle
storage rental facilities in the silicon valley.
Do you know of any indoor motorcycle storage locations in the bay area?
Are they cost effective?

Why store it over the winter? It doesn't snow here...

You could price storage facility spaces but I think they're
reluctant to have stuff like gasoline stored there.
Best bet, IMHO is a $25 cover from AutoZone, sprayed
with a whole bunch of waterproofing and secured with
extra bungees.
Only downside is that every time the weather turns sunny,
you have to take the bike out and go for a long ride to
evaporate out any condensation. Tough work, but you
can do it if you try. :-)

There is a parking garage under Chung Wong Dong Pong chiropractic
clinic.
You can also post your address and some people will happily take care
of your problem. I had some stuff stolen from me lately so i'd know.

Compared to the cost of chiropractic care they must be.
You're better off asking the snobs on ba.motorcycles.
In rec.* this is probably OT

Why bother? We don't usually have winter here, in the gemerally
accepted meaning of the term.

As for cost effectiveness, nothing beats just parking it in a parking
lot, especially when said lot is provided with the appartment at no
additional charge...
