Hey all.  Just bought one of these big-azz Ear Cannon horns from
Aerostich (http://www.aerostich.com/ear-cannon-air-horn.html ).  Yeah,
it's seriously loud, but the instructions call for it to be mounted on
my stock horn mount.  Not a chance.. This is a fully-faired
sport-tourer type bike, no room for anything under all that plastic
and cooling ductwork.

I'm not quite ready to give up on this potential life-saver, but I
really don't want to hang this monster out in a way that ruins my
bike's good lines.  Anybody have any guidance?

Have you tried splitting the compressor body from the horn, and mounting
the two pieces separately, connected with a suitable length of hose?

Haven't tried that.  Do they come apart easily?

Yes. There's a plastic tab at the top (wiring terminals facing down)
that hooks over the compressor and another plastic tab at the top of the
plastic piece where you can fit a drain hose that hooks into the
compressor body. The air connection just slides apart. You'll need a
connector you can thread into the horn piece; any place that sells
compressor stuff will have that. Try a google search.

Two other things to keep in mind:

1.  The longer the hose you use, the softer the horn will be.  An
on-demand compressor is going to have the same output regardless of how
much space it actually needs to fill up, hence more line = lower air
pressure = less honk honk.

2.  Do NOT mount the horn with the output facing directly onto the
plastic, especially near a mounting joint.  At Mack, we had an issue
with a fleet mounting air dams too close to the horns which resulted in
the vibrations causing the plastic to crack at the mounts.
