There's two stories here.

I road the RK to Las Vegas, yesterday. There was strong east winds providing
a tail wind for the bike. I got over 160 miles on a tank of gas. I depended
on that coming home, not realizing the effect of the now headwind on the
bike. I got 140 miles to the tank, and it scared the f**k out of me, cause
it was dark out there. I had to pull off before Barstow to put a gallon of
highly overpriced shit gas in my bike. It was suppose to be 76 gas, but the
RK hated it. Once I filled it with Chevron, in Barstow, it ran perfect. I
never expected the wind to change the mileage so muck. Yet, I guess it makes
sense. It was really windy.

2nd part. I went to Vegas to put $500.00 on ND, who was given 9.5 points
yesterday, at The El Cortez. I left 1 hour late, so I called my buddy, who
works there, and he said he'd have Moe place the bet for me at another
casino and that it would be done.

So ND was down by 9 until the last 2 minutes of the game. In which Michigan
State scored another touchdown. All was lost. I was so sure. So, when I went
down to pay off, my buddy said that Moe was too late, the book for the game
was closed and he couldn't make the bet.

I can't live in fear and hiding. I must go on.
I ride every day. I still shoot with a trap club once a week and take two
dance lessons a week, as well. I will do so until the money runs out and I
wind up living with Paul Milligan.

Check this out brethren.

Wait a minute. GA? Because I took a 600+ mile motorcycle ride, yesterday?

No, presumably because you're in financial difficulty to the point
of having to sell your bikes, and yet you think it's OK to bet $500
on a football game. I'm not trying to be holier than thou, but
that strikes me as a pretty clear indication you might want to think
seriously about GA.

Thinking good thoughts for you, T.
