If it helps, me and Gladys can put a cot in the bike shed for ya, so's
you don't have to live with Paul. ;)

No, that's why I wrote this:

I think taking a trip is a great idea, but I think gambling when you
are in a cash crunch is a shitty idea.

You're a good guy, and I wish you the best.

I can empathize with the cash flow problem; I had to sell the boat
this afternoon.

We have been members of a boat club for 20 years. We have the works
- dry slip, wet slip with boat lift, great ski boat, etc. Now the
boat is gone, the lift is for sale, and we are turning in our
membership. Things are getting better, but we're not out of the
woods yet. My wife has her eye on my Nighthawk as the next asset to
go - there could be bloodshed.

Don't feel remorseful because you took a motorcycle trip. My weekend
motorcycle rides are the only things keeping me sane. It doesn't
cost that much and you need your wits about you to get out of
financial troubles. I don’t think I can support you on the betting,
though. ;-)

Good God, you're right! What an awful, low-contrast, grainy,
poorly-composed image that is! The lighting is flat, the background is
distracting, the dancers' pants obscure their form, the perspective is
skewed... What a horrid picture!
