A friend of mine is thinking of buying a Kawi 900, I am not sure of
the year.
Now I have always liked the 800 and the 900 as a good mid weight bike,
but that is just based on anecdotal information.
I'd like to be able to offer her the sage wisdom and of folks who have
personal experience with or knowledge of these bikes.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

The kawasaki 900 is a fine cruiser, Far too many folks these days
feel the need for
bigger bikes. Another bike you friend might want to consider is the
Yamaha Star950.

I agree the whole mid weight class of cruisers are under appreciated.

I have read a few disconcerting reports on Stars new 950, one of which
was having to do a valve adjustment at virtually every oil change.
