Taken off the Sporster site: http://www.myspace.com/48651441 Check the
guy's vid. Haven't seen anybody doing that on Harleys before.

One of those bikes (the one he does the burn-outs on) actaually isn't a
Sportster; It's an FXR big-twin.

The Sportster is actually a great candidate for those long-slow wheelie
stunts.
It's got a ton of bottom-end torque for the sudden torque burst needed
to initiate a wheelie.
It has a separate oil sump that feeds the oil pump. The oil pick-up for
the sump is in the bottom-rear of the oil supply "bag." No oil
starvation during long wheelies.
The transmission has it's own separate oil supply. A wheelie will
actually feeds more oil to the trans during a wheelie by draining the
oil from the primary into the tranmission...

Interesting. I wonder why other folks don't use HD's... I guess $$ has
something to do with it :) how cool would it be to have a stable of
HD's and multiple Sportsters!!!

They suck at the *high-speed* wheelies?
