Let's be clear on this: OBAMA did NOT kill Bin Laden.

An American sailor did. In fact, if you remember a little less
than two years ago, his administration actually charged and attempted
to court marshall 3 Navy Seals from Seal Team Six, when a terrorist
suspect they captured, complained they had punched him during the
take down and bloodied his nose. His administration further commented
how brutal they were. The left were calling them Nazi's and Baby
Killers. Now all of a sudden the very brave men they vilified, are
heros when they make his administration look good in the eyes of
the public. Obama just happened to be the one in office when the CIA
finally found the b...... and our sailors took him out. Essentially,
Obama only gave an answer. Yes or No, to him being taken out. This is
NOT an Obama victory, but an AMERICAN victory!!

If Obama didn't shoot anybody, he didn't court martial anyone either.

As usual, Vito has his "facts" wrong here.  On at least three points:

1. The Obama administration did not charge or "attempt to court
marshall" [sic] the sailors involved.  A court martial was required in
this case after the accused sailors denied "captain's mast" (i.e., they
refused to accept a reprimand being placed on their records by their
superior officers).  In essence, in refusing the reprimand, the sailors
themselves were requesting trial via a court martial.  The court martial
was held, and the sailors involved were, in the end, acquitted.

2. The original charges were not made by the Obama administration in any
case; a complaint was made by the alleged victim (the terrorist being
detained) which went up the Navy chain of command and, as required by
regulations, an investigation was started.  In short, as would have to
be the case in a court martial, the charges were made by the Navy itself
operating as required under its own regulations.  The President has no
role in military courts (with the possible exception of being able to
grant a pardon - but again, in this case it was the accused sailors
themselves who in effect REQUESTED the trial in order to clear their
records).  At the most, you might consider the responsibility to be in
the lap of Defense Secretary Robert Gates (who, of course, was
originally a Bush appointee).

3. There is no evidence of any comments by any member of the Obama
administration outside of the military prosecution team regarding the
"brutality" of the alleged attack or the sailors themselves.
