The dude I'm buying Dnepr#2 from has a 1994 Honda Magna 750
with a fiberglass ex-Goldwing sidecar for sale. The bike has
42k Km. Asking price Cdn $5k (he might take less).
Functionally this could be a better deal than buying his Dnepr
for $2k and trying to retrofit a BMW into it, although
the end result wouldn't be as classic. Decisions, decisions.

It's much more entertaining for us if you buy a bunch of mismatched
parts and have all sorts of trouble putting it together, than if you
buy something that's already assembled and working, so I advise you
to stick with the Dnepr/BMW plan.

I had a better look at the Magna rig when I went to pick up
Dnepr#2. The sidecar looks like a boat with a pointy bow
and isn't as roomy as the Dnepr's chair. I couldn't get
my knees past the "dashboard". Its wheel has a car-type tire
but it's small, like a utility trailer wheel.
I took it for a short ride around a cul-de-sac.
There's a shimmy in the steering at low speeds.
