Was watching the races. The lean angles are something like 60-70 degrees or
perhaps more.

I didn't even know that was possible!

If I lean more than 25-30 degrees I get very nervous.

Speaking of that, is there a lean angle instrument one can get for bikes? I
can't judge the angle very well. I don't want to get an electric aviation
attitude indicator and mount it on the motorcycle (for one thing, probably a
couple $K). (Still, if I did that, the motorcycle would get a lot of second
looks. Might as well put an altimeter, airspeed indicator, and VSI on it as
well.)

Dave, why the morph? I knew it was you as soon as you asked
the mpg question about a bike to replace your 600 Shadow...

Judging the lean angle is easy, just touch your knee down. If
you can't touch your knee, you aren't leaning enough to worry
about it.

Or your toe.

Heh. I realised it was him as soon as I read this asinine question.

UNLESS your motorcycle is designed to not let you put a knee down...I
swear those bastards designed the GL1000 that way on porpise.
